Abstract
The use of BCG vaccine for protection against tuberculosis in cattle i s not a widely accepted concept, although favourable results were repo rted from UK (Doyle and Staurt, 1958), Russia (Novak and Suyubaeva, 19 85) and few other countries. The present study assessed the local skin responses in calves consequent to BCG vaccination.
