Abstract
Psoroptic mange caused by Psoroptis caprae is common in Black Bengal g oats. It is mostly found during winter season causing great loss due t o ill-health and restlessness and great morbidity resulting from irrit ation and restlessness (Blood and Rodostitis, 1989). Invermactin is a well known broadspectrum antiparasitic drug. There are literatures on the effectiveness of injectible ivermectin against mange; but work on the efficacy of ivermectin oral suspension against mange is scanty. Th is communication describes the economic treatment of generalised or se vere psoroptic mange with invermectin oral suspension.
