A heterogeneous catalytic system is an open nonlinear system capable o
f being located far from the thermodynamic equilibrium. In these syste
ms, the occurrence of self-organization phenomena in time and space is
possible. The aim of this work is to analyze the self-organization ph
enomena in space, that is autooscillation processes in heterogeneous c
atalytic systems.
