Abstract
P. Hanlon (J. Combin. Theory Ser. A 59 (1992), 218-239) has conjecture d an explicit formula for the eigenvalues of certain combinatorial mat rices related to the cohomology of nilpotent Lie algebras. Several spe cial cases of this conjecture are now established. (C) 1995 Academic P ress, Inc.
