Abstract
The authors developed a gas chromatography method for simultaneously d etermining the levels of hydrogen sulfide sulfur, mercaptan sulfur, an d total sulfur in hydrotreated fluid-catalytic cracker naphtha. They u sed compound-independent atomic emission detection to monitor catalyti c-process samples with precision and accuracy. The method is conductiv e to automation and does not require the use of reference materials or secondary analytical techniques.
