F. Roussellebourgeois et D. Mugniery, SCREENING TUBER-BEARING SOLANUM SPP FOR RESISTANCE TO GLOBODERA-ROSTOCHIENSIS RO1 WOLL AND GLOBODERA-PALLIDA PA2 3 STONE/, Potato research, 38(3), 1995, pp. 241-249
Accessions of tuber-bearing Solanum spp. related to S. tuberosum, subs
p. tuberosum were obtained from the German-Dutch collection (Braunschw
eig, Germany) and the Inter-regional potato collection (Sturgeon Bay,
USA). They were screened for resistance to G. rostochiensis Ro1 and G.
pallida Pa2/3. Among 1567 clones from 52 accessions, 135 clones (23 a
ccessions) were resistant to C. rostochiensis. They mainly represented
S. andigena, gourlayi, spegazzinii and vernei. Among 1659 clones (74
accessions), 105 clones (32 accessions) were resistant to G. pallida.
They represented S. gourlayi. spegazzinii, sparsipilum, and vernei. Ab
out 25 clones were resistant to both species.
