Abstract
We show that the recent observational data on Hubble's constant and th e age of the universe are consistent with a recently-proposed cosmolog ical model based on general relativity with non-vanishing divergence f or the energy-momentum tenser. This model considerably narrows the ran ges over which the cosmological parameters may vary. Some other conseq uences of the model are also discussed.
