Abstract
The co-utilization of FISH and PRINS techniques for in situ chromosome screening was tested on human sperm nuclei. We used a centromeric rep eat probe specific for chromosome 4 for FISH. PRINS reactions were per formed with a-satellite primers specific for either chromosome 9 or ch romosome 18. Double labeling was obtained and estimates of disomy rate s were carried out for the three chromosomes.
