Abstract
On the basis of an analysis of the products of sulphuric acid alkylati on of isobutane with olefins in the presence of anthracene (an effecti ve hydride ion acceptor), the possibility has been shown of implementi ng a process route including detachment of the hydride ions from the o lefins with the formation of cyclic carbocations.
