Abstract
We have performed thermogravimetric, infrared spectroscopic and mass s pectroscopic studies of the structure and thermal transformations of s urface groups formed in the process of chemical modification of fumed silica and alumina-silica by monoethanolamine and organosiloxanes. The rmal transformations of organosiloxanes and monoethanolamine on fumed silica and on alumina-silica surfaces have been shown to occur through different paths due to variation of the nature of the surface active sites of oxides under investigation.
