Abstract
Thirteen new Schiff bases have been synthesized from p-aminophenoxy ac etic acid and aromatic aldehydes. Their structures were originally cha racterized by UV, IR, H-1 NMR and elementary analysis: It is found fro m the results pf biological tests that compounds IId, IIf, IIg, II,j, IIk and I-m have marked activity on plant growth hormones.
