Abstract
Copolymerization of alpha-methacryloyl-omega-phenyl poly (ethylene oxi de)(PEO) macromers with methyl methacrylate(MMA) in toluene using AIBN as initiator was studied, The effects of amount of initiator, total m onomer concentration, reaction time and charging ratio of the macromer to MMA on the composition and molecular weight of the graft copolymer were studied, The purified copolymer was characterized with IR, H-1 N MR, DSC and GPC. Microphase separated structure of the copolymer was o bserved with TEM and the antithrombogenic properties were evaluated.
