Abstract
Data on the reactions of cyclopropene compounds with acids, halogen- a nd sulfur-containing electrophilic reagents, mercury salts are systema tized. The influence of electrophile nature and structure of cycloprop ene derivatives on the processes of remaining and opening ring, the st ereochemistry of reagents addition to cyclopropene bond and formation of ring opening products are reviewed. Mechanism of reactions are disc ussed.
