Abstract
The molar volumes and excess molar volumes of alpha-phase solid soluti ons of In-Pb-Sn ternary system were determined by means of X-ray diffr actometry. The data were fitted using the subregular solution model wh ich gave satisfactory predictability. The sequence of volume behaviors of solutes in these solid solutions is extended and interpreted.
