A case of central neurocytoma occurring in a 22-year-old man is presen
ted. This tumor is generally considered to be benign in appearance, no
nrecurrent, and amenable to surgical resection. However, this particul
ar neurocytoma demonstrated anaplastic features, raising the issue of
malignancy and the need for additional modes of treatment. Implicated
factors and possible optimal treatment for this tumor are discussed.
