ficients are calculated, By using the reciprocity, the emissivity is t
hen calculated. Numerical results simulate the temporal variations of
complementary backscattering and emissivity of the vegetation canopies
, Theoretical results are compared with the measurements of active and
passive remote sensing of several vegetation canopies, The correlated
characteristics of microwave active and passive remote sensing are di
scussed.
