Abstract
Based upon the analysis of enzyme-catalyzed reactions occurring in liv ing tissue, a model of thermal injury process is presented in which th e fraction of denatured enzyme protein was taken as the indicator of t hermal damage degrees. The results from this model describe the depend ence of thermal damage on exposure time and temperature elevation.
