Abstract
This paper discusses the attempt to synthesize the [Cr(2)M(II)O(CH3COO )(6)L(3)], (M(II) = Mn-II,Pb-II) compounds via a redox reaction betwee n the suspensions of Cr-2(CH3COO)(4)(H2O)(2) and a M(IV) compound. It is emphasized that, especially in such systems, there are many factors directing the nature of the final product towards the mixed oxo-trinu clear structure.
