Abstract
We describe a new catalytic system for the isomerisation of propargyli c alcohols into alpha,beta-ethylenic carbonyl derivatives (Meyer-Schus ter rearrangement)(1), based on the combination of dioxomolybdenum(VI) catalysts and sulfoxides.
