Abstract
The myrmecomorphous encyrtid wasp Coelaspidia gordhi n. sp. is describ ed from Cuba. It differs from the Mexican species C. osborni Timberlak e 1923 mainly in the shape of antennal scape and in the type of sculpt uring on the frontovertex. A key to the two known species of the genus Coelaspidia Timberlake 1923 is given. Some aspects of myrmecomorphy i n the family Encyrtidae are discussed.
