Abstract
Synthetic peptides immobilized on cellulose membranes proved to be a p owerful tool for the identification of sites in the cytokine IL-6 invo lved in receptor binding. Similarly, a region in the extracellular par t of the IL-6 receptor which is important for interaction with its lig and was identified.
