Abstract
A method of obtaining a vegetation sample in a culture-negative endoca rditis is described, A combination of fluoroscopy and transesophageal echocardiography was utilized to obtain the sample, The results positi vely influenced the diagnosis and treatment in this 16-yr-old male wit h complex congenital heart disease.
