Abstract
The paper presents the relations between different solar and ionospher ic parameters, Variation of 5577 Angstrom line intensity with the vari ation of solar and ionospheric parametersis also discussed. A study ha ve been made and following important results are obtained: (i) Virtual height of F layer is decreased exponentially with the increase of sol ar flare numbers, sunspot number and 10.7 cm solar flux. (ii) Linear r elations between critical frequency of F layer and different solar par ameters are obtained. (iii) Empirical relations between ionospheric an d solar parameters are established. (iv) It is concluded that airglow intensity will also be affected with the variation of different solar and ionospheric parameters. (v) It is concluded that airglow intensity is mainly affected by 10.7 cm solar flux among different solar parame ters and virtual height plays important role than critical frequency o f F layer.
