Abstract
In this third and final part of the series, a simplified mosaic model is introduced for predicting paper properties. Model predictions are c ompared with experimental data for papers made from bleached chemical pulp, groundwood pulp, and linerboard. The experimental results genera lly fall within predicted bounds and are in reasonable agreement with predictions from the mosaic model.
