Abstract
The anionic polymerization of epsilon-caprolactam initiated with magne sium initiators was studied in the interval 180-250 degrees C. epsilon -Caprolactam magnesium bromide was much more active than magnesium di( epsilon-caprolacramate) and the activity of both depended on the way o f their preparation. The polymerizations obey the zero order kinetics with respect to the monomer.
