Abstract
Using molecular recognition, receptors based upon diphenylglycoluril h ave been clipped onto paraquat polymers and styrene copolymers. In the case of the former polymers, the viscosity and electrochemical behavi our was modified. In the case of the latter, liquid crystallinity was induced upon complexation.
