DENSITY-FLUCTUATIONS IN AMORPHOUS FE85B15

Measurements of the dynamic structure factor performed on the MARI spe ctrometer at ISIS on the metallic glass Fe85B15 in the small Q region are briefly discussed. The measured spectra could be separated in one elastic and one inelastic component. From the inelastic part a ''dispe rsion curve'' for the collective excitations in the first pseudo Brill ouin zone was obtained for the first time. No indication for the prese nce of a magnetic scattering component was observed.
