Abstract
Bis (2-carbamoyl)phenyl diselenides and benzisoselenazol-3(2H)-ones, p articularly ebselen, have been found as new catalysts for hydrogen per oxide oxidation of sulfides into sulfoxides, N,N-dimethylhydrazones in to nitriles, and azines into carbonyl compounds.
