DIMERIC 3-VINYLINDOLES AS POTENTIAL ANTITUMOR ACTIVE COMPOUNDS - -INDOL-3-YL)-1,2,3,4-TETRAHYDROCYCLOPENTA[B]INDOLE AND -INDOL-3-YL)-1,2,3,4-TETRAHYDROCYCLOPENTA[B]INDOLE

The structures of the title compounds, C24H26N2 and C34H30N2O4S2, have been determined from single-crystal X-ray diffraction data. The steri cally more demanding phenylsulfonyl group of the second compound gives rise to significant differences, for example, in bond lengths and ang les, in comparison with the first compound.
