Abstract
In the title compound, C14H16O3.0.25H(2)O, enantiomeric pairs of molec ules form centrosymmetric dimers by mutual hydrogen bonding of carboxy l groups; the dimers are centered on the b and c edges of the chosen u nit cell. The ketone has a close contact of 2.738 (7)Angstrom to the O atom of a water molecule (which has an occupancy of approximately 25% ).
