Abstract
The objective of this paper is to show how well logs can assist in the study of diagenesis. Observations were made on three case studies usi ng different methods and means. Various kinds of diagenetic effects we re highlighted : cementation and mineralogical metamorphosis, but also reduced porosity, textural changes and in extreme cases, effects on p ermeability
