Abstract
The structural properties of the heavy fermion compounds CeT2Sn2 (T = Cu, Pd and Pt) have been re-examined. The three compounds crystallise in the CaBe2Ge2 type structure and there is no lowering of the symmetr y upon annealing, contrary to reports in the literature.
