Abstract
The case of a six year old rabbit is reported, that had had two humeru s fractures and one femur fracture within 10 months. The surgical trea tment is described. Based on the x-ray findings and due to the low cal cium concentration in the diet, a secondary nutritional hyperparathyro idism is suspected. The presently valid regulation for declaring pet f oods are considered.
