Abstract
The sorption of photrin, an antitumor agent related to ethylenimine de rivatives, by cellulose oxidized with nitrogen(IV) oxide was studied. The opening of the protonized ethylenimine ring and formation of acyl amino derivatives of cellulose were demonstrated to be the most likely mechanism of interaction.
