Abstract
The rate of spread of Armillaria ostoyae (Romagnesi) Herink was calcul ated from observations over 20 years on plots in two Douglas-fir (Pseu dotsuga menziesii (Mirb.) France) plantations in the southern interior of British Columbia. Average rates of spread in active disease center s ranged from 0.7 to 1.3 m/year.
