Abstract
The aim of this study was to better understand the mechanism of action of gamma and neutron radiation on the central nervous system, particu larly the dopaminergic system. The influence of the two irradiation mo dalities on the H-3-DA uptake by synaptosomes prepared from striatum w as studied in mice. Four hours after (neutron-gamma) irradiation [3.9 Gy] and 24 hours after gamma irradiation [12 Gy], an increase of neuro nal dopamine uptake is observed.
