Abstract
Each linear uranyl group in the title compound, [(UO2)(2)(NO3)(4)(H2O) (2)].2C(4)H(11)NO, is perpendicular to the equatorial plane formed by six O atoms, of which two belong to the bridging water molecules and f our to the bidentate nitrate groups, The coordination poly hedron has a slightly distorted hexagonal bipyramidal arrangement, The non-coordi nated 2-dimethylamino-ethanol molecules are hydrogen bonded to the bri dging water molecules with an O ... O distance of 2.77 (3) Angstrom.
