Abstract
A new series of functionalized 14-membered ring compounds were synthes ized by an intramolecular Michael reaction. The structures of the titl e compounds (I) and (II) (C21H30O4 and C21H28O4, respectively) were de termined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction in order to confirm their relative stereochemistries.
