Abstract
Single crystal X-ray determination reveals the first example of a mine ralomimetic [Cd4(CN)9]- open framework consisting of interconnected te trahedral and octahedral cadmium centres in the ratio 3:1, while solid state Cd-113 NMR spectroscopy indicates that some of the bridged cyan o groups between the Cd atoms are disordered.
