Abstract
The dinuclear complex ion transmer-[(PPri3)2(CO)3Mo(mu-PZ)MO(CO)3(PPri 3)2]+ (pz = pyrazine), the closest yet reported organometallic analogu e of the Creutz-Taube ion [(NH3)5Ru(mu-pz)Ru(NH3)5]5+, has been charac terized as a fully delocalized Mo0.5/Mo0.5 system by electrochemistry, EPR, electronic and vibrational absorption spectroscopy.
