Abstract
A regularized formulation of the broadband filter method is presented for measuring the spectral responsivity of photodetectors. Some a prio ri knowledge of the spectral responsivity to be measured is exploited in the framework of the standard broadband filter method, Partial info rmation on the spectral behavior coming from theory, experience and/or catalog data allows one to overcome the ill-conditioning intrinsic to the original formulation of the problem, Simulated and experimental t ests on actual photodetectors show the capabilities of this method. In particular, it acts successfully with V(lambda)-corrected detectors.
