Abstract
In ignoring the accomplishments of black intellectuals and academics a nd favoring instead news on black hairstyles, debutante bails, and fas hion, Ebony magazine continues to reinforce white stereotypes that bla ck people don't have the stuff to think great thoughts or to teach ser ious academic subjects.
