Gc. Blomquist et al., VALUES OF RISK REDUCTION IMPLIED BY MOTORIST USE OF PROTECTION EQUIPMENT - NEW EVIDENCE FROM DIFFERENT POPULATIONS, Journal of transport economics and policy, 30(1), 1996, pp. 55
This study seeks to derive the implied values of reducing the risks of
fatal and non-fatal injuries for different road user populations. Val
ues are obtained for ''typical'' adults, children (as implied by their
parents actions) and adults who ride motorcycles. The authors also co
nsider whether individuals evaluate small time increments consistently
with larger time allocations.
