This article describes the results of several numerical simulations of
vortex dynamics in type-ii superconductors. The underlying mathematic
al model is the time-dependent Ginzburg-Landau model. The simulations
concern vortex penetration in the presence of twin boundaries, interfa
ce patterns between regions of opposite vortex orientation, and magnet
ic-flux entry patterns in superconducting samples. (C) 1996 Academic P
