Abstract
Shubnikov-de Haas oscillations and cyclotron resonance absorption are considered for quasiclassical magnetic fields and very low temperature s in tunnel-coupled quantum wells with asymmetric short-range scatteri ng. The two sets of Landau levels, separated by the splitting Delta(T) between the left and right levels, lead to two series bf peaks with d ifferent periods and widths. In addition, the conductivity shows oscil lations as function of Delta(T). The cyclotron resonance peak shows pe culiar characteristics when both sets of Landau levels cross the Fermi energy.
