Abstract
Four new diterpenoid alkaloids demethyllappaconitine; 7,11,14-trihydro xy-2,13-dioxohetisane, 6,13,15-trihydroxyhetisane and N-deethyldelphat ine, were isolated from Aconitum orientale, in addition to the previou sly known compounds, lappaconitine, lycoctonine and browniine. The str uctures of the new and the known alkaloids were established from spect ral data.
