Abstract
Monte Carlo simulation is used to calculate the composition profiles o f surface segregation of Cu-Ni alloys. The method of Bozzolo, Ferrante , and Smith [Phys. Rev. B 45, 493 (1992)] is used to compute the energ etics of these systems as a function of temperature, crystal face, and bulk concentration. The predictions are compared with other theoretic al and experimental results.
