We report a case of hydrops fetalis secondary to transplacental parvov
irus B19 infection, in which spontaneous resolution of the hydrops occ
urred 4 weeks after the initial presentation. This case emphasizes the
role of conservative management based on ultrasound evidence of conti
nued resolution of the hydrops and intrauterine growth retardation.
