The far-infrared spectrum of cyclotron resonance absorption in the val
ence band of p-type germanium has been calculated using 6 x 6 kp Hami
ltonian for degenerate valence band for magnetic field 20T and lattice
temperature 77K. That has been shown that excitation by pulse CO2 las
er radiation can lead to the amplification on light hole cyclotron res
onance.
