Abstract
In this paper we present an indicator of chaos that takes advantage of the Information Entropy concept. We develop the mathematical formulat ion and test the results of its application with those obtained by oth er methods for the 2D Henon-Heiles system and the 3D Contopoulos, Galg ani and Giorgilli potential.
